Be honest now.

Do your customers trust you?
Do they trust what you are saying?
Do they trust you with their information?
Do they trust you are giving them a fair deal?
Do they trust your advertisements?
Do they trust your sales staff?
Do they trust your brand?
At the very core – do they really trust you?

You may have a fantastic product or service which customers will love for a while, but if that trust isn’t there then do you really expect them to be a long term customer?

These are great questions to ask ourselves Robert, truthfully too. We know that the future is all about building and developing intimate relationships with those special customers and employees who add so much value in their own unique way to our businesses and us.

No relationship can get to that level without trust, it just doesn't happen. The questions you have highlighted need to be asked at every strategic planning meeting, team meetings, marketing and performance reviews. Trust is an essential 'share word' that Robin Dickinson, http://www.radsmarts.com talks about too.

    Nice thought provokation Rob!

Thanks Ann. It would very nice if those questions were asked – I think they often get overlooked but maybe that is changing. You are right – no relationship gets to that level without trust – it is critical.

Trust is the keyword for you to gain branding and respect in the business sector. The more people entrust you with their aspect in life, the more you gain from them.
